Blog Phase 2
My topic is going to be focused on Human trafficking. I feel as if the world and people around me need to be more informed about this topic. I know that Human trafficking is when people are getting sold for either sexual slavery or for labor, some even to sell parts of their body. This goes on in different countries around the world and people are really trying to stop it. I hope to learn more about some of the organizations that are trying to prevent this from happening. Also, on how people are trying to stop it themselves. My ideal audience is to anyone who has a heart for the people that are being affected by this problem.

Human trafficking is definitely a timely topic, as many people are talking discussing it and looking for ways to end it. Let me encourage you to be more specific with identifying your audience. Instead of just "anyone who has a heart" for the issue, focus on a specific group of people as this will help you write a more precise proposal. For example, if you targeted college students at LBC (an audience you know well since you are here), you could find specific and local ways for them to get involved in the issue. Think about how the resources (time, money, etc) available to college students is very different from the resources available to business people mid-career.
